Member of the Advisory Panel for a three-year research project examining how background noise in Early Years settings affects language development in infants from under-privileged backgrounds, and how these effects can be mitigated through practical, low-cost interventions.
The project is funded by Nuffield and will study 250 children across multiple nurseries in disadvantaged areas, in partnership with the Early Years Alliance.
