Description of Activity

Led a successful bid with Malika Rahal (IHTP-CNRS, France) to organise the annual AIMS conference with the Centre d’Etudes Maghrébines en Algérie (CEMA).

The theme we identified was ‘Students, universities and knowledge production in the Maghrib’.

The event had a $20,000 budget from AIMS and brought together scholars from across North Africa, the US and Europe
