    Description of Activity

    Presented a developmental paper on "the implication of high-power distance culture on corporate governance: a critical discourse analysis of Nigeria’s experience". By relying on the lens of power distance – which is the dominant/prevailing culture in developing countries such as Nigeria – the context of this study, it is proposed that high power distance index has negative implication on corporate governance in Nigeria – relative to framework of rules, relationship with stakeholders and processes by which authority is exercised among corporations.
