    Description of Activity

Presented paper from research, which explored students, parents and teachers' perceptions of bullying. The research found that a strong underlying neo-liberal framework underpins students, parents and teachers perspectives of bullying whereas the victim is seen as the person who displays weakness and lack of character to stand up for themselves. This paper and presentation challenges these perceptions and calls for practitioners to focus on supporting victims of bullying rather than assuming they just need to man-up, as the title of the publication states.
