Simone Gumtau, Senior Lecturer in Visual Culture, will offer a contemporary take on Portsmouth’s maritime industry, discussing how her own design work is breaking new ground with respect to the maintenance of ships. Simone will provide an introduction to the new technologies with which designers and engineers are working together for the future of seafaring on the south coast.
