Description of Activity
Overall objectives of the mobility:With this mobility program I aim to further develop my academic career, re-establishing and reinforcing a series of relationships that I started during my studies (MSc) at the Delft University of Technology. Dr Sang Lee is my main reference at the School of Architecture, although I will arrange meetings with a number of colleagues in order to learn from the teaching and research activities that are carried out at TU Delft. Further formal relationships between the University of Portsmouth and TU Delft may be initiated during my mobility program and research collaboration may be reinforced by a series of activities to be developed during this period. I met other colleagues from the same faculty and visited other institutions like the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, and the Academy of Architecture - Amsterdam University of the Arts in Amsterdam.
Activities to be carried out:
. Attending tutorial sessions for design studios.
· Guest critique for final presentations.
· Shadowing the module coordinator in his teaching activities.
· Attending lectures.
· Attending meetings with a number of colleagues in the department.
Expected outcomes and impact (e.g on the professional development of the staff member and on both institutions):
· A reinforced relationship with key members of the School of Architecture at TU Delft.
· Establish a common research path, especially with Dr. Sang Lee.
· Learning from their Master and PhD programs.
· Initiate a formal relationship between TU Delft and the University of Portsmouth.
