Greetings From Creepy Futures - Wish you were/weren’t here

Imagine. What if every single technology were designed to be creepy? Our two hosts come from Creepy Futures to bring you handpicked exquisite devices. Join us in a once-in-a-lifetime auction in which voices become currency to explore what the future sounds like. Mixing exhibition, performance and speculative technology, the work asks what we value and are willing to surrender as we imagine the future together.

Dr Katarzyna Stawarz (Cardiff University) and Dr Argenis Ramirez Gomez (University of Portsmouth) are Creepy Scholars focusing on using creepiness as a design method to support reflection. Dr Stawarz’s work focuses on digital health, she is also interested in ethical design and the "dark side" of technology. Dr Ramirez Gomez’s research focuses on understanding future interactions with computers and how they transform our experience in domestic and cultural settings.
