Development of a community-oriented mass-scale skills audit to harness voluntary and paid offers from the local community. This work was to lighten the load of paid town council officials as they work to bring various community regeneration projects to fruition. My role in CATCH was to design the Skills Audit, advise on relevant marketing copy and infrastructure and support Ryde Town Council in piloting the survey. Ryde Town Council is in the largest 0.1% of town councils nationally and has ambitious plans to become the capital of culture on the Isle of Wight. It is a large town blighted by compounded austerity issues and in urgent need of reenergising upwardly from the roots of its empassioned and committed community.
