Description of Activity

This special issue presents a selection of papers from the 6th International Conference on Information and Knowledge Systems (ICIKS 2023), held in Portsmouth, UK, 22–23 June 2023, as well as from submissions received through a post-conference call for papers. Five papers were selected following a double-blind peer-review process. The contributions address complementary aspects of AI-enabled Knowledge Management. They include a conceptual analysis of the evolving relationship between AI and KM; methodological advances in ontology development using large language models; predictive modelling approaches for business process monitoring; an analytics-driven method supporting knowledge processes in human resource management; and an empirical study of tacit knowledge in synchronous online higher education.
