International resource speaker to the Asian Productivity Organisation's virtual Workshop on Public Service Innovation in the New Normal, 14-16 August 2023, organized by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia and APO Secretariat (Tokyo).APO is an intergovernmental organization established in 1961 to increase productivity in the Asia-Pacific region through cooperation. APO contributes to the sustainable socioeconomic development of the region in the industry, agriculture, service, and public sectors through a range of institutional capacity-building efforts including trainings, country specific projects, research, policy advisory and centres of excellence in 21 member countries.
45 participants from 14 Asian-Pacific countries attended the 3-days workshop.
Emre delivered two presentations and headed three group workshop activities based on her research and participants have developed innovation projects for their contexts.
This has contributed to better informed public policy-making and improved public service impact indicator.
