Introduction to Immersive XR

Description of Activity

This introductory sessions enabled attendees to understand the range of immersive technology that is available, and see some of the processes in action. Technologies demonstrated included Motion Capture, Virtual Production, Photogrammetry and VR. This session aimed to ensure attendees gained an understanding of what immersive technology is - and how this can be of benefit to different organisations and sectors.
These sessions ran in 2022 on: 17th May, 23rd May, 13th July, 7th September, 14th September, 5th October, 19th October and 1st November, with over 50 participants.
