Description of Activity
Invited keynote presentation delivered at the First International Conference on Life and Earth Sciences for Sustainable Development (ICLESSD-2025), hosted by Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 18 to 19 December 2025.The keynote, titled “Saltwater and survival: The OCEAN framework underpinning spatio-temporal salinization variability and Sustainable Development Goals in coastal Bangladesh”, addressed the environmental and human health implications of coastal salinization and its relevance for Sustainable Development Goals in deltaic regions.
The presentation was delivered following a formal invitation from the conference organisers and formed part of the main keynote programme of the international conference.
