A ground breaking new centre here at the University of Portsmouth is helping businesses and organisations from every sector transform the way they work.

From defence training to medicine, construction and even curing spider phobias, the University’s Centre for Creative and Immersive Extended Reality (CCIXR) is enabling more people to embrace exciting technology and inspiring the next generation of talent.

This episode of Life Solved explains how students working at the centre are referred to as ‘unicorns’ for their rare and sought-after skills in designing the engines behind simulations. Sharing exciting stories of how they’ve been working with museums and cultural organisations to present information in new and exciting ways for museum goers.
