Description of Activity

In this University of Portsmouth Global Week panel event, established writers, including CCI lecturers Dr Tom Sykes and Dr Amanda Garrie and PhD candidate Sudip Sen, will discuss how they present ethnicity in their creative writing and performance work in a respectful, accurate and ethical fashion, in addition to offering theoretical insights the panel will provide practical advice for what Edward Said called the "non-manipulative, non-oppressive" writing of the Other.
