Description of Activity
Overall objectives of the mobility:With this mobility program, I aim to develop my academic career further, establishing and reinforcing a series of relationships that I started during my work at the University of Portsmouth, where I met Professor Fabiano Lemes de Oliveira for the first time. Prof. Lemes will be my main reference at the School of Architecture, and the plan is to learn from the teaching and research activities that are carried out at POLIMI. Further formal relationships between the University of Portsmouth and the POLIMI may be initiated during my mobility program. Research collaboration may be reinforced by a series of activities developed during this period. More meetings have been set with other colleagues from the same department. I also visited the faculty of Design at the Bicocca campus to establish a connection with the School of Interior Design.
Added value of the mobility (in the context of the modernization and internationalization strategies of the institutions involved):
The School of Architecture at the POLIMI provides advanced teaching and research strategies. Learning form such a rich environment could increase my understanding of the management and strategies that could be further implemented at the School of Architecture at the University of Portsmouth. In particular at the Master level.
