    Description of Activity

    Prof Lance McCracken shared his knowledge and insights into the latest advancements and breakthroughs in the field of chronic pain. The day involved a one-day seminar on the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and its applications in clinical practice when working with patients with long-term conditions. Prof McCracken's seminar included an update on the current research and evidence on ACT, an overview of the theoretical framework and processes in ACT, and practical exercises. The seminar was attended by healthcare practitioners from Solent NHS Trust, Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Southern Health, and Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
