Troll Hunting: Horror Fandom from Screen Spaces to Real Places - This talk focuses on the spaces and places of horror fandom, paying particular attention to examples of fan tourism. I discuss the importance of traveling to places (eg. filming location, film festivals and conventions, themed experiences) for fans and theorise horror fandom as a form of both textual and physical interaction.
