Description of Activity
The 4th episode in the social care research skills seminar, covering how to synthesise evidence. This seminar gives an overview of:
Meta-analysis
Framework Analysis
Meta-aggregation
and a (very) brief synopsis of realist synthesis.
Additionally, this session explains how to code data based on content, and how to compare and contrast those codes to develop themes and findings. Where most tutorials say "and then you do your analysis!" and skip onto the next step, this seminar goes into the nitty gritty with worked examples of developing codes.
