1) The Macmillan Counselling and Psychology Service (MCPS) Evaluation
I. Assess MCPS service effectiveness by evaluating pre- to post-therapy outcomes II. Understand the care pathway through MCPS by seeing how referral data informs pathway allocation (i.e., whether patients are directed towards counselling or psychology) III. Explore hospital care utilisation and patient experience by investigating whether patients who use the service demonstrate changes in inpatient, outpatient, or emergency department (ED) use from pre- to post-therapy
2) Schwartz Rounds Evaluation
I. To understand the experiences of PHU staff participating in Schwartz Rounds II. To assess the perceived and/or actual outcomes for the hospital III. To identify barriers and facilitators to implementation and sustainability IV. To inform the design and delivery of future Rounds
