    Description of Activity

    I took part in 5 day film festival covering talks and screenings to do with the Independent Documentary Festival. I was part of the launch of the Documentary Film Council which is the first sector-wide organisation made up of filmmakers to support and encourage growth of the industry. It's a democratic organisation with the remit and resources to represent the UK’s independent documentary film sector within the wider screen industries at home and abroad. Together with other academics and freelancers. I was part of a focus group at the launch that looked at developing policies and have joined the committee
