    Description of Activity

    The aim of the SBAM is to promote the practice of musical analysis in all its forms, in particular: – by organizing or supporting conferences, meetings, congresses, concerts and all activities that may contribute to its purpose; – by publishing or supporting works and periodicals relating to musical analysis; – by bringing together practitioners and theorists of musical analysis, by promoting contacts between them, by representing them to the authorities on which they depend. The Belgian Society for Musical Analysis was founded in 1989, with a view to the participation of its members in the First European Congress of Musical Analysis in Colmar.
