    Description of Activity

    Supported by the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, sessions on starting professional work were aimed mainly at undergraduate and postgraduate students thinking of joining the profession, although they were also open to the general public.The sessions covered topics such as the qualities and skills needed to work as a translator or interpreter, how to get organised and where to find help, and pricing and financial aspects. The day ended with a Q&A panel composed of alumni, lecturers and professionals and a networking session.
