The Photobook as a Playing Field - A Free Experimental Photography Workshop

Can a photobook be a playground?
Inspired by the award winning photobook 'The Bears' and immersive exhibition at The Reflectory at the University of Portsmouth, this fast-paced, hands-on workshop treats editing and sequencing as a game to invite new readings of your work.

Working collaboratively as a team, we use the "unbound" format of The Bears to shake up the traditional rules of visual storytelling. This is an hour of creative experimentation where we mix, match, and shuffle images to see how their meanings completely transform when placed side-by-side.

Commissioned by Photoworks (nation-wide & award winning organization ) and local photo organization Pompey Darkroom.
