Description of Activity

This was a Study Half Day based at the UoP to which we invited a number of external speakers involved in research, campaigning and reporting on the effects of conflict in the DR Congo. We had a film screening by a multi-award winning filmmaker, and heard about the work of 2 NGOs. It was also an opportunity for students to get involved in campaign work. The event was very well attended and attracted staff and students from across the university. We established some useful contacts and also opportunities for work experience for students.
