Sarah Houghton from the University of Portsmouth speaking on 'Unfurling Portsmouth's Suffrage Banners'. Sarah discussed her historical and archival research into the fight for women's suffrage in Portsmouth - and explained how this has shaped her creative process in making replica banners ahead of her exhibition at the Portsmouth Museum & Art Gallery.
The talk was held in the Menuhin Room in the Central Library on Wednesday 29th May at 1:30pm.
