Description of Activity

This half-day online workshop was a collaborative project for final year architecture students being run between the University of Portsmouth, UK and the Universidad Mayor, Chile.

During the workshop, students researched building in their respective cities through their own narratives and perspectives to generate a Heritage Dialogue between Chile and the UK.

The project allowed students from both institutions to introduce themselves by sharing examples of their own design work.

This workshop aimed to help forge a new relationship between the University of Portsmouth, and the Universidad Mayor, to offer a range of intercultural opportunities for an international experience for our students and to actively encourage development of a global mindset in students through a project that enabled learning from other cultures.
