Parr Pressure Reactor

The pressure reactor is designed to offer operating pressures to 5000 psi (345 bars) at temperatures to 350 °C. This stirred reactor can operate at high pressure/moderate temperature device at a 1 litre size (reduced high working pressures made by concrete walls). Consider for application in the re-polymerisation of polymers/plastics/other materials in the polymer chemistry/materials engineering fields. The pressure reactor is found in the Centre for Enzyme Innovation Industrial Engagement Hub at University of Portsmouth. The reactor was funded by the HM Government "Getting Building" fund through the Solent LEP.
