In today's data rich global economy, accounting and financial management are central to business decision-making and analysis and are often referred to as 'the language of business'.

The Accounting and Financial Management subject group is part of the Portsmouth Business School, and sits within the University's Faculty of Business and Law.

Our subject group is actively engaged in research across the full range of accounting and management –  the four areas of expertise within our Accounting research area are:
