Personal profile

Summary

I earned my BSc (Hons) in Criminology and Forensic Studies, where I discovered my interest in forensic entomology. While studying this degree programme, I also worked for a Portmouth-based sexual violence and domestic abuse charity, where I worked as an advocate for victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse.

During my Masters degree in Forensic Investigation, I focused my research closer on the investigation of fatal sexual assault and obtaining DNA profiles from the crop content of forensically relevant larvae feeding on decomposed material and sperm cells.

My research interests involve forensic entomology and morphological identification of diptera species, forensic investigation of sexual offences, and LGBTQ experiences of sexual assault.
