Mr
I am a Lecturer in Innovation Management and New Product Development at the Strategy, Marketing, and Innovation subject group. My main research area focuses on how the use of manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing or IoT based systems enable innovation.
I achieved an MA in Languages at the University of Rome, and an MSc in Business and Management at BAL school in Portsmouth where I am also in the phase of completing a fully funded PhD research project. Along my career I have managed my own business in the creative industries sector and worked as a manager in different contexts. As a production manager I developed great interest in production environments going from technology use to product development.
My current research is essentially in the context of innovation management, in particular on how manufacturing technologies enable different levels of innovation.
I teach and supervise dissertation projects on different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes related to business and management. Among these, I have been delivering lectures and seminars on the modules “Contemporary issues of Product and Service Development”, "Managing Product Portfolios", and on the MSc “Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship”.
