Personal profile
Summary
With over 18 years of experience in the marketing industry, including 16 years in Dubai and most recently working for The National Museum of the Royal Navy locations across the U.K., I have had the privilege of collaborating with globally recognised brands such as the Hard Rock Café, The Ivy Collection, The Ritz-Carlton, and Kempinski Hotels. In these roles, I led teams and executed communication campaigns across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
Throughout my career, I have specialised in consumer-centric brands within the service industry, cultivating expertise in various marketing and communications functions such as digital marketing, public relations, and brand strategy. This comprehensive knowledge, coupled with my hands-on experience, enables me to provide students with valuable insights and practical examples that enhance their learning experience.
Beyond my teaching responsibilities, I actively contribute to businesses by serving on advisory boards and assisting with their marketing strategies. This involvement keeps me abreast of the latest industry trends and practices, ensuring that I bring relevant and current knowledge to the classroom.
As the course leader for the BA (Hons) International Business degree, I am deeply passionate about fostering internationalisation. In today's interconnected world, a global perspective is crucial for success. Leveraging my extensive international experience, I aim to inspire students and equip them with the necessary skills to excel in the global marketplace.
