Summary

I am a Teaching Fellow in Design and Engineering in the School of Mechanical and Design Engineering at the University of Portsmouth. My teaching areas include Product Design and Industrial Design. Subjects include CAD/CAM Modelling, Technical Drawing, Design Ideation and Human Factors.

Biography

I graduated from the Univeristy of Portsmouth in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Product Design and Innovation, before completing my PGCE in Further Education in 2017.

I have several years experience of teaching and providing technical assitance to Design & Technology students. 

I have industry experience working as a Lighting Designer, working closely with Technical and Production teams as well as leading prototyping on various projects.

I rejoined the University of Portsmouth in 2020 in my current role.

Teaching Responsibilities

I teach on modules for Product Design and Innovation and Industrial Design courses, as well as some modules for Mechanical Engineering. I oversee final year projects for Product Design and Industrial Design.

I am a Module Coordinator for one Level 5 Module, Design Ideation, and  one Level 6 Module, Human Factors in Design and Manufacture.
