Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Dental Public Health and Research Lead at the Dental Academy University of Portsmouth. I am also the CRN Wessex Specialty Lead for Oral and Dental Health.

I qualified as a Dentist at the Universidad de Chile and completed an MSc in Dental Public Health and a PhD in Dentistry at the University of Sheffield. Additionally, I hold an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

I have wide experience in dental teaching and research. I have worked as a Lecturer in Primary Dental Care Research and Teacher in Dental Public Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, King’s College London. In addition, I worked as a Research Assistant for the Dental Public Health Group, University College London.
