I am a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Portsmouth with research interests in forensic and investigative psychology. My research focuses on deception detection, investigative interviewing, and the use of sketching techniques to enhance information gathering and credibility assessment. My PhD examines how different sketch recall methods influence verbal and sketch-based cues to deception, plausibility judgments, and lie detection accuracy.

I teach across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes, with a particular focus on forensic psychology, professional practice, and research methods.
