Learning Development Tutor for School of Education and Sociology at University of Portsmouth - 5 years' experience. EdD student completing thesis comparing student and institutional perceptions of the Learning Development role. Previous publication related to the above, and forthcoming publication on the hidden curriculum of written feedback on academic work. BA Linguistics, MA Applied Linguistics/TESOL, PGCE, CELTA. Fellow of Higher Education Academy since 2016. Background in both teaching English as Second Language and Literacy. Masters thesis on challenges relating to citation, for Chinese students writing in English for University.
