I am a senior lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Portsmouth (UK) and my research mainly focuses on how to apply quantum information theory into practical quantum technologies in quantum optics and superconducting circuits.

Teaching Responsibilities

I am a module coordinator for 2nd-year students in the module of Mathematical Physics (M20278) and a co-coordinator for 1st-year students in Space Science and Applications of Physics (M24199), for the 2nd-year students in Introduction to Modern Physics (M31446) and for the 3rd-year students in Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information (M26359).

In addition, I played a role of an employability advisor and a placement tutor in SMAP for 2 years and a member of the Equality and Diversity committee in SMAP.
