Summary

I joined the University of Portsmouth in November 2020. I am a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and a Visiting Fellow of Kellogg College at the University of Oxford. I have held senior positions at the universities of Kent and Southampton and at the University of Manchester. At Manchester I was the Executive Director of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Centre for Research in Innovation and Competition (CRIC) and the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) and Head of the Innovation Management and Policy Division at the Alliance Manchester Business School. While at the Alliance Manchester Business School, I held the Eddie Davies Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
