John is an experienced teacher and practitioner in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. He brings his international academic and professional background to a range of specialist fields within the school focussing on site design, landscape urbanism and design review.

John is an active a member of professional Design Review Panels including Design South East, Brighton and Oxford City ensuring the school is absolutely up to date on development and contentious and high profile design issues and thoroughly connected to the world of practice. 

In addition John's research, in the field of Landscape Archaeology, has been regularly featured on mainstream media channels including hte BBC, Discovery Channel and Channel 5.
