Biography

I am Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management and International Business at the Faculty of Business and Law, University of Portsmouth. I am the Global DBA course director, and a Phd supervisor. I have led, and participated in Research Programs and International Conferences. My research papers have been published in scientific journals and in edited volumes. 

Research Interests

Main scientific interests relate to strategy and international business, specifically in areas related to FDI, institutional influences, sustainability, internationalization decisions, influences of policy and geopolitics.

Theory interests: configurational theorizing, institutional theory, dynamic capabilities theory, resource-based view, signalling theory, theory of social capital.

Expertise related to UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
