Personal profile

Biography

I am an interdisciplinary artist and senior lecturer in Illustration. My work merges traditional illustration techniques with digital processes, pushing the boundaries of illustration into animation, three-dimensional drawing, and interactive and immersive environments. With a background in print and digital media, as well as commercial print and web design, my research and practice primarily focus on integrating traditional and digital media, exploring animation, and interactive media, with a particular interest in Extended Reality (XR) and its intersection with illustration.

I also curate the Illustrated Menagerie, a collection of illustration works centered around the theme of animals. To date, I have organized four exhibitions as part of this collection. The most recent exhibition was featured in the We Shine festival in November 2022.
