Summary

I am a Teaching Fellow in the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portsmouth. My teaching areas are in Product Design, Design Engineering, Manufacturing & CAD/CAM/CAE. Modules include Design Analysis & Development, Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Engineering and Product Manufacture, Computer Aided Engineering (Product Realisation), Advanced Modelling, CADCAM Systems. My industrial experience spans across a few Engineering sectors: Design/Reverse Engineering, Additive Manufacture, Non-Contact Optical Metrology and Inspection.

Teaching Responsibilities:

I teach on the Product Design & Innovation and Mechanical Engineering modules. I oversee Individual Project students (Levels 6) for Product Design and Mechanical courses. 

Module Coordinator:

I am a Module Coordinator for two Product Design modules: Design Analysis & Development (Level 4) and Computer Aided Design (Level 5).

Other Responsibilities:

I am Employability Coordinator, developing collaborations with the industry, where our students would be able to apply their skills and knowledge. I am responsible for hosting events (guest lectures/talks) to promote industrial opportutnies such as placements & graduate schemes.
