I graduated with a BSc degree in Television and Broadcasting in 2013 and am a practicing freelance editor and film maker, working with Corporate video, musicians, performers and documentary. I specalise in Post Production, teaching and practicing skills like video editing, colour grading and visual effects, but I also dabble in Camera skills and cinematography. I am a certified Avid Media Composer Proffesional instructor and I am currently in the process of becoming a fellow in the Higher Education Academy and obtaining a PGCERT in Higher Education.
I was recently involved in the development of a 'Train the Trainer' toolkit alongside Neil Hunt for the Lagos State Creative Education Skills Partnership. This partnership aims to support the professionalization of the Nigerian film industry through the development of a curriculum toolkit to be launched at AFRIFF 2018, and short specialised training course, to be delivered in partnership between the University of Portsmouth (UoP) and Lagos State University (LASU). This research project has the scope to branch out.
I am currently undertaking a research project called "Play: an effective way to teach complex software skills?" This is designed to enhance the curriculum and work alongside our Video Editing modules in the University.
