Personal profile


I am a Lecturer in Architecture and Interiors at School of Architecture, the University of Portsmouth. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Affiliate Member of Royal Institute of British Architects. My research and teaching combine interests in educational spaces, biophilic design, participatory design, and architecture education.

I joined the University of Portsmouth in 2022, following 5 years of teaching at De Montfort University. Since 2005, I have taught a wide range of subjects for Architecture and Interior Design courses in various Schools of Architecture and Design. I have a Doctorate in Architecture, awarded by the University of Sheffield in 2009. I also obtained a MA in Interior Design, and a Master’s degree in Architecture.
