Mrs
I am teacher practitioner in Pharmacy Practice, my time in practice is split between community and hospital sectors. I am also a non-medical prescriber whose scope of practice is Dermaotlogy.
My research interests are around the emerging roles of pharmacists and widely within Dermatology.
I commenced my role as a teacher practitioner at the University of Portsmouth in 2016. Prior to this I held roles within community and hospital pharmacy and contributed to local Transfer of Care Around Medicines (TCAM) pilots. I also sit on the local pharmaceutical committee (Community Pharmacy South Central). I have most recently acheived my independent prescribing qualification in 2019.
I live in Wickham with my husband and two young children.
I am the joint pre-registration support lead with my colleague Simon Archer. I am also the Oriel (Pharmacy pre-registration recruitment) lead. I co-ordinate the fourth year MPharm Integrated Studies in Mental Health module. I teach across all 4 years of the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programme within the pharmacy practice team and contribute to the post-graduate PGCert in prescribing and therapeutics programme.
