Biography

I am Principal Lecturer (Undergraduate) International Education and Communication for the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics. I have been working with the university since 2010, and currently lead our In-Sessional English, Pre-Sessional English and undergraduate Business Communication provision. Subjects I have taught in the school including academic English, business English, dissertation writing, marketing & finance, and leadership & management in language education. I am DELTA and MA qualified, and I hold FHEA membership. Before I joined the university, I was a Financial Accountant in industry, and taught English as a Foreign Language in the UK and Portugal.

Research Interests

I am research, publish and present on theories of successful teaching instruction with particular emphasis on mobile assisted language learning (MALL).
