Summary
I am currently a Teaching Fellow in the School of Law having graduated from the University of Portsmouth gaining my Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees here. Prior to my full time position at the University I was the Equality and Diversity lead for the NHS. In my early career I was a police officer for Hampshire Constabulary. Following leaving the police service I was elected to the role of local councillor and have been a serving magistrate in the adult court as well as chairman in family court for nearly 15 years. Finally I am a accredited mediator working within employment, family and community mediation.
Teaching Responsibilities
I am currently the Unit Co-ordinator for Law and Proceedures relating to Children, and I teach on Land Law,Equity and Trusts and Art of Persuassion units . I also teach the Legal process, Expert Witnessing and Dispute Resolution accross subject disiplines.I am also a level 5 personal tutor. I have previously taught on English Legal Systems unit and at Post Graduate level Legal Approach to Business and Theory of Negotiation.
