Personal profile

Summary

I am a Senior Teaching Fellow in Human Resource Management and Level 5 tutor for the Business and Management Course. 
Before my full-time academic role, I worked as a Part-time Lecturer at Southampton Solent University, the International College Portsmouth and the University of Portsmouth.

I gained my PhD from the University of Portsmouth and my research was to explore the impact of reward on academic employee engagement. The main contribution of my work has been highlighting the importance of the perception of fairness in all aspects associated with reward for academics.  

Teaching Responsibilities

I currently teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management and Research Methods. My main teaching responsibility is the coordination of two core modules, Employability Research and Professional Development and the Dissertation module for Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management.
