Summary
I am a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Investigation with a professional background in crime scene investigation and counter-terrorism. My research spans forensic science and maritime security, with a focus on bias and inclusivity in forensic DNA profiling, particularly relating to LGBTQI+ communities, and the governance and resilience of maritime systems. I also explore the use of immersive technologies to enhance training, decision-making, and safety in complex operational environments. My work is interdisciplinary, combining perspectives from forensic practice, law, and security studies to address contemporary challenges in justice and infrastructure protection.
