I am a Teaching Fellow at the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies specialising in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
My research interests are wide-ranging due to my background experience. My areas of interest are as follows:
Currently I am working on a project to explore student understanding of marking criteria. This project aims to investigate whether active learning opportunities which allow students to engage with the assessment criteria can enhance understanding of assessment expectations and marking criteria.
As well as acting as seminar tutor on all of the modules listed above, I am also a Personal Tutor to several Level 4, 5 and 6 students. I also supervise students on Placements.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
