Summary

I am a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Financial Management and also Department Admissions Tutor. I have previously taught at Henley Business School, University of Reading.

Biography

I joined the Faculty of Business and Law in January 2020. Prior to this I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Henley Business School, University of Reading, where I taught on a number of different modules.

I hold a Master’s degree in Economics (School of Economics, University of Surrey) and a Ph.D. degree in Accounting and Financial Management (Henley Business School, University of Reading).

Research Interests

My current research centres on Applied Microeconomics. In particular, the research agenda revolves around the role of financial intermediary and its relation with SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises). My research interests lie in the areas of small business finance, earnings quality, financial stability and empirical banking.

Teaching Responsibilities

I currently teach and coordinate the Introduction to Finance for Accountants module. I have previously taught the following modules: Financial Management; Advanced Study Skills; Financial Reporting: Analysis And Decision Making.
